Wings Over Kississing

Wings Over Kississing is a privately-owned charter air operator that began in Flin Flon, Manitoba, Canada. Founder Curt Enns began this airline from the Kississing Lake Lodge, where he flew lodging guests in and out using a DHC-2 Beaver floatplane. Since its humble beginnings, it has expanded to a respectable fleet varying from single-engine workhorses to multi-turbine King Air 100 providing unmatched speed and payload capabilities. Wings provide essential flying services, both on land and water, to remote First Nations communities in many aspects such as food and living supplies, transporting government personnel, and medical flights.

As part of the Manitoba Aviation Council (MAC) career fairs, trading cards branded with Wings Over Kississing logo and aircraft were released in late 2024. Intended as marketing for both aviation students and pilots, these cards share similar design to its counterparts made by MAC and larger dimensions than average cards, coming in at 9.2cm by 7.0cm. Hardshell top-loaders are recommended over card sleeves to ensure minimal damage when storing these cards.

Fun fact: The aircraft featured on this card is a Cessna C208B Grand Caravan, registered as C-GOCN. Based in Thompson, Manitoba, this aircraft is one of the most iconic in Kississing’s fleet.
