Starlux Airlines
Starlux Airlines is a full-service airline founded by former EVA Air chairman Chang Kwo-wei, based in Taipei, Taiwan. Founded in 2018, this airline began its first flight in January 2020 on Airbus A321neo. Since its inception, Starlux has exclusively operated one of the newest Airbus fleet in the world, consisting of A320neo and A330neo family, as well as both -900 and -1000 variants of the A350XWB.
In 2026, Starlux Airlines collaborated with celebrated Japanese artist, Hajime Sorayama, to create the Starlux AIRSORAYAMA experience marketed towards three high-demand routes in the Starlux network; Two A350-1000 each painted in Gold and Silver liveries replete with AIRSORAYAMA themed ameneties will operate from Taipei to Tokyo-Narita, Phoenix Sky Harbour, and Prague starting 1st October 2026.
To promote the new aircraft and service, collectible cards were made to feature the two AIRSORAYAMA aircraft. While these will be allegedly available for purchase, currently it remains as a rare soft-launch card series for the airline’s branding and unique experience.
