Official Southwest Trading Cards

The first record of collectible cards created by Southwest Airlines was in May of 2025, when the company printed 200 cards to give out to exceptional employees. These cards were later reprinted for the general public, creating the first Southwest trading card and a template for future ones.
Although these cards are not dated, newer cards in the series were released in almost numerical order throughout 2026. Each edition features a closely similar format; Name and action shot in the front, side profile art and description in the back. Look closely at the bottom left, the Official Aircraft Livery Collector Card seal denotes this is indeed Southwest’s official card!

The official site page for Southwest’s trading cards hinted at varying levels of rarity broken down into three levels: common, semi-rare, and rare. Speculators have commented the background color on the back of the cards (blue, yellow, red) may indicate these rarity levels.
